  • This study reviews recent research on Arabic learning difficulties among students at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level in Indonesia, highlighting linguistic barriers, teacher-centered pedagogy, and affective factors such as anxiety and motivation. The findings suggest that these challenges are systemic rather than student-based, requiring integrated improvements in contextual vocabulary learning, applied grammar instruction, aligned assessment, and supportive classroom environments.
